Following a 20 year career in coaching and education at Sharyland High School, Jose Gonzales decided it was time for a change. The McAllen Monitor reported that on June 3, Gonzales opened his first Two Men and A Truck franchise to serve McAllen and the surrounding area.

“That was a chapter in my book that was great. I would get up and want to go to work, want to go and teach and coach and do all of that,” said Gonzalez on his time spent at Sharyland High School.Gonzales feels that Two Men and A Truck’s “core values” are many of the same that he applied to his work as a coach and a teacher. “Moving people forward is what we strive for, moving them to their new house, or their new apartment,” Gonzalez said. With nine employees currently, Gonzales is still in the midst of trainings, webinars and workshops to get his new business in top shape.
