In November, United States-based franchisees added 25,600 jobs&#8212;nearly half of what they added in October, which saw growth of 52,600. But despite the lower numbers this month, the industry is still closing out the year on top. &#8220;Twenty fifteen has been a year of very strong employment growth for franchises as evidenced by the fact that gains have already exceeded last year by around 50,000 jobs,&#8221; <a href="http://www.cnbc.com/2015/12/02/us-franchise-job-gains-take-breather-in-november-adp.html?utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=us-franchise-job-gains-slow-down-in-november-3030" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">said Ahu Yildirmaz, vice president and head of the ADP Research Institute</a>. &#8220;Plus, the 12 month franchise employment growth rate of 4 percent is double the labor market as a whole.&#8221; According to ADP, restaurants added the most jobs last month, with a total of 15,060&#8212;or 59 percent of the total jobs. Auto parts and dealer franchisees were the second-biggest contributor, adding 6,630 jobs.
