Want Your Message To Stick?! ... Tell A Story

It wasn't until recently that I discovered the power of storytelling. What I have found is the better storyteller I become, the more it helps me connect with people on an emotional level.

When doing this, the person or audience is engaged, interested and simply connected with the lesson, a whole lot more than when sharing "Best Practices" or “5 Steps To,” for example.

Being a skilled storyteller is much more difficult to master than I thought it would be. On the other hand, if it helps me to bond with people on a more emotional level, then it's worth it!

I certainly have not conquered storytelling (not even close!), but I am focusing on this and getting better each day, and I really think it's benefiting me in so many ways.
