International Dairy Queen* Inc. is looking to expand in the state of New York, with room to bring up to 100 DQ Grill & Chill® locations to the area.

According to the Westchester County Business Journal, the brand is looking for experienced operators to spearhead this growth, which has a specific focus on the Westchester market.

“Ideally, we love to see multi-unit-capable franchisees,” said International Dairy Queen Inc. Vice President, Franchise Development Jim Kerr. “A group that already operates a brand that wants to diversify in an area, or just individuals with strong business skills with access to capital.”

In terms of where to place the new restaurants themselves, analytics will determine the real estate that attracts the most customers.
