Which Wich Eyes Santa Maria
The superior sandwich chain continues to plot its West Coast takeover.
After great success in Northern and Southern California, Which Wich is targeting several Central California communities for development, including Santa Maria, which can support two locations.
While it is a relatively young franchise, in the past twelve years Which Wich has grown to nearly 400 locations in 38 states and 10 countries. The restaurant has become known for their customizable menu and unique brown bag ordering process.
The company hopes to open a total of five restaurants in Santa Barbara County, it already has a location open in nearby San Luis Obispo. The “company is already working with one possible franchise owner, but is looking for franchise candidates who not only know about business but who care about quality and want to make an impact in the community,” according to the Santa Maria Times.
Which Wich will be a good fit in Santa Maria based on its size and residents interests and personalities, said Director of Franchise Development Connie Alires. Each Which Wich location will add about 25 jobs to the community.
The restaurants are likely to open late next year or early 2017.
