Franchise Marketing Radio: Thomas Flaherty Discusses What Sets Buffalo Wings & Rings Apart From The Competition
Buffalo Wings & Rings Chief Development Officer Thomas Flaherty is on a mission to change the way customers think about chain restaurants.
In a recent interview with Franchise Marketing Radio, Buffalo Wings & Rings Chief Development Officer Thomas Flaherty discusses how the sports restaurant franchise is disrupting the industry by providing customers with a club-level experience with higher expectations of service, food quality with chef-inspired menus.
Flaherty describes Buffalo Wings & Rings’ inception in 1984 as a local sports bar with a mom-and-pop personality. When new ownership took over in 2005, Flaherty says the popularity of Buffalo Wings & Rings in its hometown of Cincinnati made it perfectly poised to be a burgeoning franchise.
Fast forward to 2021, Buffalo Wings & Rings has become a formidable player in the space with over 85 locations nationwide. The footprint is growing with plans to launch in Mexico later this year.
Flaherty says the brand’s success is due to the universality of people connecting through sports and high-quality food and Buffalo Wings & Rings innovative ideas that continue to drive business growth.
Flaherty has been the chief development officer since February of 2020 after spending much of his 30+ year-long professional career in law and franchising. For 12 years, Flaherty worked as a Corporate Paralegal for Papa John’s International Inc. and spent an additional 20 + years working for a plethora of prominent brands like Blink Fitness, Tide Dry Cleaners and Huddle House facilitating development and franchising in an array of different positions.
Buffalo Wings & Rings is the ultimate sports restaurant franchise that not only provides customers with a sports bar environment but an amplified VIP experience that takes game time to the next level.
