Restaurant Business: Wings and Rings Rebrands, Without the “Buffalo”
The Cincinnati-based elevated sports restaurant and bar concept has reported an increase in traffic after its recent name change and rebrand.
Wings and Rings is making some big changes to separate itself from competitors.
In a recent Restaurant Business article, Wings and Rings, the 85-unit international ultimate sports restaurant franchise, explained the decision to remove the word “Buffalo” from its name, and its corresponding redesign, to prevent being mixed up with competitor Buffalo Wild Wings.
Diane Matheson, vice president of marketing for the sports restaurant franchise, said that the logo and name rebrand is aimed to help set the franchise apart, while also communicating a more inviting atmosphere that welcomes everyone.
Wings and Rings sets itself apart with a fully rounded guest experience that not only provides customers with the laissez-faire fun of a local sports bar, but also an amplified VIP setting that takes game time to the next level. Wings and Rings features bright and inviting dining rooms, a chef-inspired menu with diverse offerings and fresh, never-frozen wings to satiate every sports fan’s palette. With 85 locations across the globe, Wings and Rings is constantly innovating the sports restaurant category by bringing refined food experiences that are accessible and affordable to all customers.
