High Point Enterprise: WORKOUT ANYTIME Opening New Location in High Point, North Carolina

Atlanta-based fitness concept WORKOUT ANYTIME is targeting High Point, North Carolina for a new location, offering 24/7 fitness at the low price of $15 per month.

 

“We have people looking all over the state” for sites, Randy Trotter, vice president of development for WORKOUT ANYTIME, told High Point Enterprise. “We’re finding that we really do well in small and medium-sized towns that are underserved for value-priced fitness.”

 

The brand has grown to 105 stores in 17 states since 1999 and aims to open as many as 50 more this year. Aside from the brands home state of Georgia, North Carolina has quickly become their second largest market territory.

 

“The two biggest deterrents to joining a health club are the price and the contract, so we kind of take that out of play,” Trotter said. “People want to be members of a health club because it’s so important now to work out for your overall fitness and health. They just don’t want to pay for amenities they don’t use, like pools or juice bars.”

 

Along with 24 hour access to treadmills and weights, premium memberships also include access to tanning and personal trainers.
