WORKOUT ANYTIME, a 24-hour, seven-day-a-week fitness concept, is celebrating 2014 as a landmark year with the opening of its 50th location.

The Atlanta-based health and wellness franchise — which has established a reputation for accessibility, both for consumers and for franchisees — is now anticipating a minimum of 100 percent growth in 2014.

“The progress that WORKOUT ANYTIME has experienced is nothing short of astounding,” said Steve Strickland, CEO and co-founder of WORKOUT ANYTIME. “In 2013, we doubled the number of locations and are now celebrating the launch of our 50th club. With this positive momentum in place, we expect to end this year with even better results. By this time next year, I foresee more than 100 WORKOUT ANYTIME locations across the U.S. and Canada.”

The fitness brand’s landmark 50th opening, located in Milton, Georgia will be spearheaded by the experienced, business-savvy franchisees Paul Jackson and Randy Clevenger. Before becoming owners, both Jackson and Clevenger were introduced to WORKOUT ANYTIME in Cumming, Georgia as members. Jackson and his wife Lynn saw the potential in owning and operating a local business and decided to make the Cumming WORKOUT ANYTIME their own in 2010. Enjoying running a successful location, the husband-and-wife duo partnered with Clevenger in 2013 to buy three WORKOUT ANYTIME franchises. The team opened their first joint venture—and the brand’s 50th—club on Monday, March 13, 2014 at 13800 Georgia Highway 9, Suite NPQR in Milton, Ga., just outside the brand’s home market of Atlanta.

Company wide, WORKOUT ANYTIME saw a 40 percent increase in gross sales from 2012 to 2013, and same-store sales increased 15 percent during the same time period. Furthermore, more consumers showed their loyalty to the brand as the number of active members increased 34 percent in 2013. With a strong finish to a record year, the fitness brand is forecasting that they will continue to push forward throughout 2014.

Fifty-four percent of the franchisees in the system are multi-unit franchisees, seeing the huge potential in operating multiple clubs. Furthermore, with experienced fitness veterans John Quattrocchi and Strickland at the helm of the company, WORKOUT ANYTIME is well equipped to emerge as a frontrunner of value-price workout establishments in 2014, as the company continues to target potential owners with the mindset for success with multi-club ownership.

“2014 is already shaping up to be a banner year for us,” Strickland said. “With 25 clubs in the pipeline for opening this year, we’re more than half way toward our goal of 100 percent growth. I predict that we’ll be seeing new locations opening every other week throughout 2014.”
