He credits his Air Force experience for shaping his approach to business, providing him with discipline and teamwork skills that he uses daily as a franchise owner."The Air Force taught me discipline and the importance of teamwork," Ferrone said. With two young children at home, Bryant wanted a career that balanced work and family time. Seeing a need for a children’s salon in her hometown of Clarksville, Tennessee, she decided to bring Pigtails &amp; Crewcuts to the community.Bryant’s salon is designed with families in mind. As a nod to the military community in Clarksville, she even incorporated an Army Jeep chair in the salon, creating a welcoming space for military families.“I want Pigtails &amp; Crewcuts to become a staple in the community,” said Bryant. “It’s not just a business; we’re giving back. With my military background and my husband being a veteran in this military town, we’ll be very involved with the military community.”<h3>Kim Green: Inspiring Veterans to Pursue Business Ownership</h3>Kim Green grew up in Louisiana, where economic challenges led her to enlist in the Navy’s Delayed Entry Program. After high school, Green served three years, including assignments in the Caribbean and Mediterranean. When her service ended, she transitioned smoothly into a civilian role at Allstate, where she worked for 16 years before deciding to pursue her longtime goal of owning a business. Today, Green co-owns a Pigtails &amp; Crewcuts in Jacksonville, Florida with her husband, Kourtney.Green credits her time in the Navy for teaching her the discipline and dedication that she now applies to running her business."The Navy gave me a foundation in discipline and high standards," Green said. "In business, those values help me every day.
