Now, she is bringing that passion and experience together as the franchise owner of&nbsp;<a href="https://sweathouz.com/franchise/?utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=sweathouz-franchise-northern-virginia-natalie-siewers-2730515" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">SweatHouz</a> in Northern Virginia.“I worked a series of very intense jobs after graduating,” Siewers said. “When I started teaching yoga full-time, I was seeking out ways to make this you know more of a business career — marrying my background in finance and business with my passions."&nbsp;Her practice of yoga and meditation eventually became more than a personal outlet — she became a certified yoga teacher, meditation teacher, and sound practitioner, deepening her understanding of physical and mental health. At the same time, she recognized that her background in finance and technology startups could be put to work in building something more sustainable in the wellness space.<h2>Discovering SWTHZ</h2>Siewers initially considered starting her own wellness concept, imagining a space built around saunas, cold plunges, and community. But when she and her husband visited SWTHZ in Boston, they immediately recognized that the model aligned perfectly with what she wanted to create.“I checked it out and fell in love with it,” she said. “It just really improved my health and wellbeing and gave me this space that I was looking for."&nbsp;Although franchising wasn’t her first thought, the structure and support of the model made sense for an entrepreneur who was new to brick-and-mortar ownership.&nbsp;"I did a ton of research, a ton of listening to different podcasts and reading books," Siewers said.
