Cyrus &amp; Enna Yanos have two children, one in 1st grade and one in 4th grade. The Yanos children attended <a href="http://sylvanfranchise.com/?utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=the-central-valley-business-journal-stockton-sylvan-learning-center-reopened-by-local-couple-2705929" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Sylvan Learning for tutoring after school</a>, and were actually excited to go. They liked how Sylvan integrated technology into the curriculum, and did something different every day. When Cyrus heard it was for sale, he didn&rsquo;t want his kids to lose that experience, and knew that other parents in the area felt the same way. Cyrus spoke to his wife, Enna, and the two decided to purchase the Sylvan Learning location. This way, kids in Stockton could continue to benefit from a unique spin on education. 
 
&ldquo;We didn&rsquo;t want it to completely shut down, and we&rsquo;d have to travel probably 45 minutes away to go to another Sylvan,&rdquo; said Enna Yanos.
