Brewer Stouffer had several “F” words on his mind when he launched The Roman Candle Pizza Franchise in 2005. First and foremost was "fun." Next was "fresh." And finally, it was about really good "food." Now, as the brand continues to grow, a new "F" word has entered the business - and that's "franchising."
Born outside of Austin, Texas, Stouffer was surrounded by the comforts of great food - from the smells of his mother's midwestern kitchen to regionally-inspired cuisine. That connection to food only deepened and after traveling through Europe for a year, he knew he wanted to bring those food experiences to life in Madison, Wisconsin. And so The Roman Candle was born - a one-of-a-kind pizzeria that prides itself on farm-fresh ingredients, quality sourcing, and a craft, handmade approach. Doing the right thing never felt and tasted so good.
