Michael Sham, TWO MEN AND A TRUCK General Manager in Ridgeland, Mississippi was the Runner-Up for the brand’s Moving People Forward Scholarship.

As the Runner-Up, he received his own location and $10,000 to get it started. He has chosen Horn Lake, Mississippi for this location, to serve Oxford, Tupelo, Olive Branch, Southaven, and more surrounding areas.

“After we get set up, I hope to be able to start helping customers move in April… I’d say we’ve got an excellently trained staff going into this,” Sham told the Jackson Free Press.

Sham, a U.S. Navy Veteran, has been with the brand since 2013. He became an instant leader at the Ridgeland location when owner Jack Taylor hired him on as the General Manger.

"I remember Jeff telling me, 'Not many people like you have crossed my threshold,'" Sham told the Jackson Free Press. "He had initially interviewed me for part-time work, but he said I'd be a perfect fit for the general manager position he was also looking to fill."
