Why Wings and Rings, and Why Now?
For over 13 years, Wings and Rings has seen a more than 10.2% increase in average same-store sales growth — an impressive number compared to the 1-2% percent of the casual dining industry overall. But the time has never been better to franchise with the brand thanks to its revamped restaurant design, developmental incentive program and new POS system with cutting-edge technological improvements.
Wings and Rings’ new restaurant model (called G4) was launched in Greater Cincinnati in 2020. The revamp was designed to meet evolving customers’ preferences and includes a reimagined dining room and patio, as well as additions to the brand’s existing take-out and valet drive-thru model — two massive revenue streams for restaurant owners in a post-COVID world.
In addition, technology will play a large role in the revamped restaurant design, including the ability to pay at the table, order ahead for pick-up, integrate third-party delivery with the POS platform and more. To provide consumers with a VIP off-premises experience, the G4 model will also feature an innovative valet pickup, where customers drive under a canopy and pick up the food without needing to worry about interactions.
The revamped model also includes combined indoor and outdoor seating, self-service kiosks, simplified menus and much more.
Over the past year, the new G4 design has aligned perfectly with the needs of consumers as the world emerges from the COVID-19 pandemic. To encourage franchisees and support their business endeavors during this time, Wings and Rings has also announced a new development incentive program, which waives the initial $40,000 franchise fee and royalty fees for the first six months for prospects interested in the G4 model.
With these upcoming initiatives and the brand’s in-demand concept, Wings and Rings is positioning franchisees for continued success in the new industry landscape and ensuring that the legacy brand continues to evolve with changes in consumer habits.

Why the Restaurant Category?
The COVID-19 pandemic expedited where Wings and Rings and the restaurant category in general was already headed. For example, the shift to off-premises and delivery services was already well underway, and the need for technological integration has been a primary focus over the past few years. Now, all of these changes have been accelerated to combat COVID-19 and position brands like Wings and Rings for success in the restaurant category’s new normal.
In addition, Wings and Rings has remained devoted to improving its already outstanding offerings, which include great food at the customer’s convenience. It’s that promise and passion driving the brand that have made franchisees feel so supported and kept customers happy.
Why You?
Franchisees have the opportunity to be in business for themselves, but not by themselves, for a franchisor who is deeply committed to pursuing success together as a member of the brand’s franchise family.
Wings and Rings has franchise opportunities available in multiple new territories such as Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, Florida, Texas, Missouri and Michigan. There is potential, however, to expand outside of these areas, though prospective franchisees would need to sign for multiple units to be considered.
Those who are interested in participating in the brand’s development incentive program don’t need prior restaurant experience — management talent may be recruited — but should be passionate about executing the mission of the brand and excited to engage in the business and take care of customers.
Wings and Rings has recently been recognized by Franchise Times as one of 2021’s Top 400 franchise brands, ranking at No. 83 out of 400 franchises.
Why Franchisees Love the Brand
Frances Zwick is one of the brand’s highly- experienced, multi-concept franchisees. Zwick settled on joining the Wings and Rings system after falling in love with the concept, and she says the corporate team was incredibly supportive throughout the entire onboarding process.
“We went through the traditional training with the corporate team, and they helped us with everything from building design to our new store opening, hiring and operations,” she said. “They’ve also offered a lot of ongoing support. The team works hard to find the best in-class systems to help support the different needs of franchisees, including assistance with marketing, real estate, technology and more. That was one of the main things that sold us on the concept — we knew they’d support our specific needs as owners.”
With that support infrastructure, Zwick has been able to leverage the brand’s scalable business model and expand her footprint to include three Wings and Rings restaurants throughout Kentucky and Indiana.
Investment
The estimated initial investment required ranges from $1,129,950 to $1,670,500. Wings and Rings franchisees require a minimum liquid capital of $500,000, a minimum net worth of $1,250,000, a franchise fee of up to $40,000.
