Paris Baguette, the global bakery café franchise, is looking to expand in Portland, Oregon. With 4,000 locations worldwide and over 150 in the U.S. alone, the French-inspired bakery café franchise has built a powerful presence as they revive the concept of the neighborhood bakery in markets across the country. Last year, Paris Baguette opened 43 new bakery cafés and awarded over 100 new franchises. As they work to continue driving their growth in 2024, the team sees an opportunity to expand in Oregon with the addition of 10-plus new bakery cafés in the Portland area.

“We see great potential for expansion in Oregon. There is a tremendous amount of opportunity in the bakery café space, and with brand awareness already growing in the state, it is prime time to expand,” said Chief Development Officer Eric Lavinder. “With one location already open in Beaverton and more in development in the state, Paris Baguette is laying a foundation in the state, and we see potential to add another 10 to 12 bakery cafés in the Portland area.”

With the ability to open up to 12 new bakery cafès in the next decade and four in the next three years alone, the team is looking to the Englewood Park, Tualatin, South Burlingame, Southgate, Pearl District, Creston, Kenilworth and Kerns neighborhoods for development.

The Greater Portland area is home to a dense population group, but there are very few neighborhood bakery cafés in the area that can compete with the freshness, quality, flavor profiles and guest experience that Paris Baguette offers.

Further, the Portland market fits the profile of the “lifestyle centers” in which Paris Baguette has successfully established themselves. When the brand first began to pursue expansion in the U.S., they focused on establishing a presence in high-traffic lifestyle centers and other hubs that would allow for maximum exposure. The success of this strategy is proven by the brand’s rapid growth in recent years, and this push for growth in Portland is no different.

With brand awareness already growing in the Portland market, Paris Baguette is looking to partner with passionate franchisees interested in bringing something truly unique to their neighborhoods as they work to fully saturate the market within the next decade.

Paris Baguette distinguishes themselves in every market they enter with their commitment to freshly baked breads, cakes and pastries; flavorful sandwiches and salads; and classic beverage offerings. This unwavering dedication has fueled demand for Paris Baguette as they’ve grown across the U.S. and maintained the allure they hold with guests, and the team expects a similar response in Portland.

“We’re very confident about the opportunity that exists in the Portland market,” said Lavinder. “Our team has created a strong business model that appeals to guests and franchise owners alike, and we look forward to making the Paris Baguette experience even more accessible to the people of Portland.”

The total investment to franchise with Paris Baguette ranges from $652,565 to $1,750,900 including a $50,000 franchise fee. To find out more information on costs to buy this franchise, please visit https://ownaparisbaguette.com or  https://1851franchise.com/parisbaguette.
