Daily Hive: Paris Baguette Has Opened Canada’s First-Ever Location

Paris Baguette, the over-4,000-unit bakery café concept, has opened the first of several Canadian locations. The new Yonge Sheppard Centre bakery café marks the brand’s entry into the Canadian market, with additional locations set to open in the Greater Toronto Area, Edmonton, Calgary and Vancouver.

“The expansion of our bakery cafés into Canada marks an exciting period of growth for Paris Baguette,” said Darren Tipton, CEO of Paris Baguette in North America, in a press release.

The new location is 2,300 square feet and includes open seating for up to 20 guests, though many choose to take breads, pastries, sandwiches and salads to go.

“The push for Canadian expansion came after the brand noted considerable success in the US over the past 18 months as sales have grown increasingly,” Hogan Short wrote for Daily Hive.
