Weekly Coffee Dose: Paris Baguette makes Canada debut with Toronto outlet
The South Korean bakery café chain plans to open more than 70 stores across Canada and the US by the end of 2023 and is targeting 1,000 North American outlets by 2030
Paris Baguette, the global bakery café brand with over 4,000 units around the world, has officially launched its expansion efforts in Canada. Opening its first Canadian location in March of this year, the franchisor says it’s targeting an additional six openings in 2023.
The start of the brand’s Canadian growth is focused on the Greater Toronto Area.
“The expansion of our bakery cafés into Canada marks an exciting period of growth for Paris Baguette. We can't wait to celebrate moments of joy with our guests as we establish our neighborhood bakery cafés in Toronto and bring our vision to life throughout Canada,” said Darren Tipton, CEO, Paris Baguette North America.
By 2030, the brand is looking to reach 1,000 units in North America.
