In a recent interview with the Grand Rapids Business Journal, TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® multi-unit franchisee Kyle Norcutt discussed a recent territory signing that made him the sole owner of all TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® locations in Western Michigan.

Norcutt, who’s been a franchisee with the nation’s largest moving franchise since 1998, said the acquisition of his Grand Rapids South TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® franchise, along with two Indiana locations, will contribute to 25% of his franchise group’s total sales. He estimates that Grand Rapids will add $2.5 million and the two Indiana locations will add $6 million to the group’s yearly revenue.

Norcutt already owns locations across Colorado, Washington, Utah and Indiana, and he says he has long awaited the day to call himself the sole owner of all Western Michigan territories.

“The beauty of having the whole market, it does make it a little bit easier for marketing and we have some call sharing between our locations,” Norcutt said. “So, if a customer calls any of our customer service reps at any of the four locations in West Michigan, they answer the call and schedule the estimates and book the jobs, and then we kind of look for the most efficient way to get those jobs done.”

In the interview, Norcutt also discussed how he is focused on employee growth, noting that becoming the sole owner of all Western Michigan TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® locations will help provide additional management opportunities.

Currently, there are more than 380 TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® locations and 3,000 trucks operating in 46 US states in addition to Canada, Ireland and the UK.
