In a USA Today article, Sara Bennett, TWO MEN AND A TRUCK’s chief talent officer, discusses how the brand has pivoted its approach to reach new recruits as unemployment benefits are making it tougher to find candidates. TWO MEN AND A TRUCK®, the largest franchised moving company in North America, is looking to hire 2,000+ team members in over 350 locations. As the housing market continues to heat up, TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® projects its moving jobs to increase 10% more than 2019 figures. In order to emphasize the safety precautions the brand is taking, they’ve also held virtual hiring events to find the best-qualified candidates for all employment levels.

“Finding qualified employees has been extremely challenging in most markets throughout the country, especially in the last three to four months,” Bennett said. “We have had to expand our methods of recruiting and explore new ways of attracting and retaining employees.”

TWO MEN AND A TRUCK®, headquartered in Michigan, was founded in 1985 and has performed more than 8 million moves. In 2021, Entrepreneur Magazine named TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® as one of the top 500 franchises for the 26th year in a row.
