Jacksonville Business Journal: Beef ‘O’ Brady’s to Grow in its Home State with New Jacksonville Locations

The brand is actively looking for franchisees to develop and own the target development market.

Tampa-based Beef ‘O’ Brady’s is targeting Jacksonville for development. The expansion comes years after the brand closed its Beach Boulevard location.

With a focus on classic American food like burgers, sandwiches and wings, Beef ‘O Brady’s plans to open five family-centric sports restaurants in the area. The brand is looking for passionate owner-operators to join its ever-growing system, but is also open to entrepreneurs looking to sign multi-unit development deals.

"Honestly, it's wide open right now, but obviously, a couple have come to the forefront, like Fruit Cove, Meadow Brook, Palm Valley," said Jamie Cecil, director of franchise sales at Beef 'O' Brady's. "Beef works well in areas like that. We're not going to look in Downtown Jacksonville. We need to be out in the suburbs where we can become the home away from home."

The average timeline for a Beef ‘O’ Brady’s franchise to open its door for business is nine to 12 months. That’s why Cecil is hopeful the brand will have a restaurant in the area by the end of 2017.
