The 65-year-old Danish furniture manufacturer and retailer recently celebrated the opening of its flagship location in New York City&rsquo;s historic fashion district, featuring pieces from world-renowned designers like Oki Sato, Henrik Pedersen and Karim Rashid.

In honor of this monumental occasion, <a href="https://boconcept.1851franchise.com/?utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=boconcept-celebrates-flagship-store-opening-in-new-york-city-2705416" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">BoConcept</a> hosted a luxurious grand opening event, inviting the brand&rsquo;s biggest supporters, corporate executives, designers Karim and Asher Levine, and HGTV star John Gidding for an evening filled with inspiration, collaboration and an insider&rsquo;s look into the future of the brand.

&ldquo;I love the company, I love the people, and I love the quality,&rdquo; said Karim about BoConcept. &ldquo;They branch this notion of doing things that are super well done and very high-quality, trying to offer products at a more moderate, more acceptable price to a larger audience. It&rsquo;s more of a mass market appeal, which is something that I&rsquo;ve always felt close to.&rdquo;

BoConcept has innovated in the global Scandinavian furniture revolution since its founding in 1952. The brand&rsquo;s arrival on the world stage of fashion and design in Manhattan further builds on dominance created in markets across Europe and Asia, opening the door for new multi-unit franchise partnerships in the competitive U.S. market.

The brand has already established a global presence across 64 countries, with more than 300 locations and 15 million annual website visitors. With 13 U.S. locations and a 5-year growth goal of adding 40 additional stores, the Madison Avenue location serves as a coming out party.

CEO Anton van der Putte is determined to make BoConcept a household name in the Americas with the brand&rsquo;s contemporary, functional furniture. With upcoming openings in Connecticut, Atlanta&rsquo;s Buckhead neighborhood and plans to add locations in San Diego, Chicago, Pittsburgh, the Pacific Northwest, Texas and Minneapolis within the next three to five years, the brand is well on its way to achieving van der Putte&rsquo;s goal.
