This week Checkers & Rally's declared a Wiener War against Burger King with a full page USA Today ad after Burger King announced they'll add hot dogs to their menu. The popular dish has been on Rally's menu for decades and, at half of the price, Checkers & Rally's President and CEO Rick Silva told the Dayton Daily News, "“We’re ready for the fight."
Rally's has 10 Dayton area restaurants.
“When Burger King made their announcement, we laughed,” Terri Snyder, executive vice president and chief marketing officer of Checkers & Rally’s, said in a release. “We’re engaged in a fun, aggressive and provocative Wiener War with Burger King.”
