Dispatch-Argus: Value-Conscious Population In The Quad-Cities Provides Opportunities For Growth With Checkers & Rally's
Checkers plans 11 new locations throughout the Quad-Cities.
Checkers is expanding in the state of Illinois, and has its sights set on the Quad Cities. The Dispatch-Argus spoke with director of franchise development Bruce Kim about the planned development.
According to the piece, Checkers is hoping to open an additional 11 restaurants in the area, starting in 2016.
"We're growing, and by no means at a saturation point. Our demographic is middle income to below. We're looking for value-conscious consumers who want a big bang for their buck," Kim said.
The article mentions the recent Thrillist story naming Checkers the fastest growing fast-food brand in Illinois, and also says that the brand is currently seeking franchisees for the Quad Cities area.
