Sunny Street Café®, the emerging breakfast and lunch concept with 22 locations, has now set its sights on Georgia for franchise expansion. Focusing specifically on the Atlanta metro area, the brand sees vast untapped potential in a market that's ripe for its unique offerings.

Georgia's thriving and sophisticated restaurant ecosystem, coupled with its booming economy, make it an attractive destination for the brand. The Atlanta DMA is the tenth largest in the U.S., with a population of almost 2.5 million. The area's robust economy, ethnically diverse population and an average household income exceeding $50,000, create an ideal environment for Sunny Street Café's community-driven dining experience.

“The vibrant and diverse culture of Atlanta, paired with its strong business community, aligns perfectly with Sunny Street Café's vision,” said Brand President Scott Moffitt. “Our robust catering program, focusing on breakfast and lunch, will resonate well with the Metro Atlanta market, also our desire to stay close to our guests' neighborhoods reflects our commitment to a community-centric approach.”

The franchise has identified specific opportunities in Cobb, Gwinnett, Forsyth, Fulton and Oconee counties, with particular interest in locations such as Roswell, East Cobb, John's Creek, Sandy Springs, Woodstock and Alpharetta. The real estate strategy is guided by a deep understanding of Atlanta's traffic patterns, aiming to cluster locations within a 20-minute driving distance whenever possible.

“We see Atlanta as an excellent fit for Sunny Street Café, not only for its economic vibrancy but for its sense of community,” said Moffitt. “We believe that it can comfortably support 20 or more locations, providing us with a tremendous opportunity to grow and contribute to the local economy.”

The planned expansion is projected to open 1 to 2 locations within the first year, 5 to 10 locations within three years and 10 to 20 locations within a decade. Each new outlet will create approximately 40 jobs, contributing positively to Georgia's employment landscape.

The Sunny Street Café team will be visiting the market frequently for real estate evaluation, and several senior management members have existing connections to the area, having lived and worked there for many years.

"We are excited about bringing our community-driven experience to Georgia,” said Moffitt. “It's a significant step in our continued expansion, and we believe in the strong potential of this market.”

The total investment necessary to begin the operation of a Sunny Street Café ranges from $464,545-$1,307,514 including a $35,000 franchise fee. For more information on franchising with Sunny Street Café, visit https://www.sunnystreetcafe.com/franchise/.
