Buffalo Wings & Rings, the Cincinnati-based elevated sports restaurant and bar franchise with more than 85 units across the globe, is claiming its place as the leader in the chicken sandwich wars with the launch of its new chicken sandwich lineup. And these chicken sandwich chiefs — called “The Ringers” — made with a premium-cut chicken breast, next-level toppings and hand-dipped in house-made beer batter are here to stay.

And the sandwiches weren’t just dreamt up overnight. In order to understand what qualities consumers look for in a best-in-class chicken sandwich, Buffalo Wings & Rings conducted various research panels, and the consensus was that you can’t have a great chicken sandwich without high quality meat (even better if it hangs over the bun), chicken that is tender on the inside and crispy on the outside and a variety of fresh toppings.

“Understanding what our guests were looking for in the perfect chicken sandwich was just as important as how we crafted it,” said Diane Matheson, vice president of marketing for Buffalo Wings & Rings. “We feel confident that we have exceeded those guest expectations with our three new, fresh takes on the classic chicken sandwich.”

The MVP Ringer is a classic take on the chicken sandwich — with a bit of a kick. It features a premium-cut chicken breast (fried or grilled), house-made beer batter topped with a signature spicy mayo and pickles on a toasted brioche bun, with a side of natural-cut fries.

The Buffalo Ringer takes a buffalo chicken club sandwich to the next level with house-made beer batter, a premium-cut chicken breast (fried or grilled), signature Buffalo Hot sauce, Applewood-smoked bacon, lettuce and tomato served on a toasted brioche bun with bleu cheese dip or ranch dressing, with a side of natural-cut fries.

And the Korean Burger, cheekily referred to as “the beast from the east,” offers house-made beer batter, a premium-cut chicken breast (fried or grilled), zesty gochujang sauce and Asian slaw served on a toasted brioche bun, with a side of natural-cut fries.
