For over a decade, Buffalo Wings & Rings has been working with a team of passionate, hard-working franchisees to bring its leading club-level, sports restaurant franchise to new communities across the globe. To say its efforts have been successful would be an understatement—today the brand boasts an impressive 70 units worldwide, and that number is only going to grow.

One of the local business owners who has been instrumental in Buffalo Wings & Rings’ expansion efforts is also one of its newest franchisees. Frances Zwick, who owns the brand’s Greendale, Ohio location, has seen incredible success in her first year of operation.

“It’s hard to believe we’ve only been open for a little over a year—we first opened our doors for business on March 11, 2015. But I can honestly say I’ve loved every minute of it,” said Zwick. “Between Buffalo Wings & Rings’ proven franchise model, unparalleled menu and friendly atmosphere, it’s easy to find success as a local business owner.”

That success has sent Zwick straight to the top of the Buffalo Wings & Rings brand. With $2.8 million in annual revenue, her location is one of the top five performing stores in the brand’s entire franchise system.

Part of the reason Zwick’s Buffalo Wings & Rings location has been able to stand out is because of her commitment to making her store an integral part of the local Greendale community. By running special promotions after high school football games and streaming local sporting events on the restaurant’s big screens, Buffalo Wings & Rings has positioned itself as the go-to place for friends and families to gather in the neighborhood.

“Frances is a perfect example of why Buffalo Wings & Rings’ franchisee standards are so high. By working with local owners who know their local community, we’re able to establish strong customer loyalty,” said Philip Schram, chief development officer for Buffalo Wings & Rings. “We’re thrilled to have Frances on our team—she had a strong grand opening last year and has been building on that momentum ever since.”

Now that Zwick’s first Buffalo Wings & Rings location has been up and running for over a year, she’s planning her next steps as a multi-unit franchisee.

“I’ve had a great time working with everyone at Buffalo Wings & Rings—from my employees to the corporate team. That’s why I’m so excited to expand,” said Zwick. “I’m currently in the process of determining the site of my next location, which means another unit will be open as early as next year.”
