Wings & Rings Has Big Plans for Growth in 2021
A revamped restaurant model and a new development incentive program are propelling strong growth momentum for the leading wing franchise.
Since 1984, Wings & Rings has been busy growing to more than 80 locations across the globe, and this year, the elevated sports bar franchise is ready to ramp up that momentum despite the challenges of the past year.
“We are looking to grow in the short term, medium term and long term, regardless of the current snapshot in time,” said Thomas Flaherty, Chief Development Officer of Wings & Rings. “We’re in unusual times; however, we will always be in a state of continuous improvement.”
But the promise to grow isn’t enough, a strong franchise system and productive relationships with dedicated franchisees need to back it up. And Wings & Rings’ proven model is designed to deliver.
With goals this big, a plan to grow also needs big strategy, and for Wings & Rings that means a commitment to franchisee incentives like its revamped restaurant design with an updated logo, a development incentive program that waives the initial $40,000 franchise fee and royalty fees for six months and a new POS system with cutting-edge technological improvements.
Over the past year, Wings & Rings doubled down on the support it provides its franchisees, offering increased departmental support with weekly calls to its entire family of franchisees. But that’s not all — the brand is building an even stronger foundation through quarterly franchise webcasts, annual franchise conventions and access to a franchise advisory council.
“During the pandemic we’ve stepped up communication and produced plans to weather the storm. We’ve increased our levels of support and launched programs to help franchisees through the pandemic as they navigate carryout and contactless and online ordering,” said Nader Masadeh, CEO of the brand.
The wing franchise has vast growth potential all across the country, with franchise opportunities in multiple new territories in Florida, Texas, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Missouri, Kansas, Michigan and Indiana.
“We have so many things to be excited about, and, in many ways, we have used these ‘unusual times’ wisely in planning to slingshot out of this [pandemic] into even greater growth than we otherwise would have experienced,” said Flaherty.
And Wings & Rings isn’t limiting its growth potential to domestic territories — it’s preparing to “slingshot” its franchise opportunities and chef-inspired menu to a new international market this year: Mexico. With strong brand presence in the Middle East and Europe already, there’s no stopping Wings & Rings from becoming a leading global player in the wing game.
The brand is offering promising new growth opportunities for new and existing Wings & Rings franchise partners in the new year, but growth isn’t the only goal. It’s the commitment to another year of serving its valued fans the food and friendly dining experience they’ve come to know and love.
“For our guests, it’s the opportunity to enjoy great food in a fun environment with friendly customer service, every time,” he said. For our franchisees, it’s the opportunity to be in business for yourself — not by yourself — with a franchisor who is deeply committed to pursuing success together. The Roaring ‘20s are going to be great for our brand!”
