Chick-fil-A is planning to build its global footprint. According to a recent article in Business Insider, the brand will launch its first international initiative in the Toronto market. In the span of five years, the company hopes to open up to 15 restaurants across the city.

"We had been considering international expansion for a while. Based on the momentum we have had in the US, especially in urban markets like New York, Chicago, Seattle, and Portland, we feel that now is the time to take the next step. Toronto is the next step," said President Tim Tassopoulos.

If the brand sees success in this initiative, it will extend expansion efforts into other nations around the globe.
