IFA Introduces New Organizational Structure

The association is working to enhance its ability to advocate for the proven franchise business model.

With the presidential election just days away, there’s uncertainty surrounding the future of the economy and regulations that will impact businesses. In order to prepare for upcoming challenges and opportunities, the International Franchise Association changed its internal structure to better position itself to fight for the continued success of the proven franchise business model. Those changes include staff promotions and new positions.

In a press release, IFA President and CEO Robert Cresanti said, “In anticipation of the next presidential administration, these changes demonstrate how IFA will accelerate its long-term growth in terms of revenue and influence over the critical issues of importance to the franchise business model and the small business community.”

Below is a full list of the staffing changes being made within the IFA:

  • Scott Lehr, CFE has been promoted to Executive Vice President of Development, Marketing & Conferences
  • Matt Haller has been promoted to Senior Vice President of Government Relations & Public Affairs
  • Elizabeth Taylor has been promoted to Chief Legal Officer and Chief of Staff
  • Paul Rocchio, CFE has been promoted to Vice President, Development and Member Services
  • Greg Cook, CFE has been promoted to Vice President of Advertising and Strategic Partnerships
  • Jeff Hanscom has been promoted to Senior Director
  • Lynette James has been promoted to Senior Manager
  • Jenna Weisbord has been promoted to Senior Manager of Communications & Public Affairs
  • Sara Williamson has been promoted to Senior Manager of Membership and Advertising
  • Nick Johns is moving into the Membership department as the Coordinator of Strategic Partnerships and Business Development
  • Shelby Shaw has been hired as the Coordinator for Government Relations & Public Affairs
