Bringing two decades of marketing experience, Mark Priestland joins Pollo Campero, the world’s largest Central American chicken chain, as Marketing Director. Priestland’s addition to the team will support the brand in achieving its goal of putting 250 restaurants on the ground in the U.S. by 2026 and continuing to cultivate a strong community unified around the family principles of Pollo Campero.

“There’s tremendous growth potential in terms of new restaurant openings, and a really bright future for the brand,” Priestland explained. “Not only is this a serious responsibility, but it is also one that has the leadership’s team full focus. It involves putting processes in place, creating the right strategy and building strong teams. From a marketing standpoint, we’ll certainly play a big part in those growth plans, as will our strategic partners.”

Priestland explained that, during his time in marketing, he has worked both in the country and internationally, facing new challenges daily. No single person is an expert in all things marketing, and Priestland explained that the constant learning associated with this industry makes the job exciting.

“It’s just a terrific place to be, and I think that when you couple in the anticipated brand growth with a focused leadership team, a recipe for success is created. It makes it a ton of fun to get up in the morning and go to work. It’s a great opportunity to build upon the foundation that is already in place,” he added.

As the brand continues to grow, Priestland says that establishing strong fundamentals will be critical to our success. While there are plenty of facets to marketing, he recognizes the family attributes of the Pollo Campero brand. He plans to nurture a community presence that will attract guests to experience Pollo Campero and become a part of the family.

“The executive leadership team is a very strong, capable and experienced group, and it’s absolutely a privilege to work alongside them. In conversations with the leadership team, it was obvious that this was a great next step for me to take in joining the company. I’m looking forward to the many successes to come.”

Initial investments range from $887,250 - $2,126,500.* For more information, visit: https://camperofranchise.com/
