Wendy’s Investigating Possible Data Breach

The fast-food chain Wendy’s is looking into “unusual activity” related to cards used at some of the company’s locations. Wendy’s has launched an investigation after being alerted to possible fraudulent charges being made after cards were legitimately used at the franchise. Currently, the chain is working with cybersecurity experts, payment industry contacts, and law enforcement to look into the potential fraud.

Pizza lovers rejoice! Pizza Hut has unveiled the new Stuffed Garlic Knots Pizza. The new pizza featured 16 cheese-stuffed garlic knots on the crust of the pizza and comes with marinara dipping sauce. This new pizza will set customers back $12.99 and is only available for a limited time.

Michelle Kluz Named CEO of Pure Barre

Pure Barre has named Michelle Kluz CEO of the barre concept franchise. Kluz will be replacing former CEO Sloan Evens who will transition into the role of chief operating officer. Kluz comes to Pure Barre from BB Retail Capital based in Sydney, Australia where she oversaw over 1,000 private retail and franchise conglomerates worldwide.

Fazoli’s Launches Aggressive Franchise Recruitment

The fast casual restaurant Fazoli’s is on an aggressive search for new franchisees. With a five-year same-store sales growth streak, the brand is utilizing the narrative at franchising opening houses throughout Ohio, Pennsylvania and West Virginia. With the brand’s current incentive program, new franchisees are eligible for discounts up to $20,000 off the initial $30,000 franchise fees, in addition to other benefits.
