Josh York, the founder of GYMGUYZ, is proud to say that he created the first in-home mobile personal training and fitness franchise. Since its inception in 2008, York has been valued for his hands on leadership style in growing the business and profitability to more than 1000 clients, 50 employees and a fleet of vans in less than five years. Today, GYMGUYZ may service clients nationwide, but York’s ultimate goal is to expand GYMGUYZ worldwide. And so far, it’s clear that the brand is already well on its way.

During IFA 2017, 1851 Franchise Publisher Nick Powills caught up with York to learn more about the brand’s growing role in the fitness industry and the unique niche it’s looking to fill.
