CEO Brandon Cerrito outlines the day-to-day duties for owners with the brand that has a mission to revolutionize the carpet cleaning and repair industry.

The Carpet Chemist is quickly establishing itself as a revolutionary franchise in the carpet cleaning and repair industry. The day-to-day duties of a technician have been expedited and simplified under the brand’s system, and the industry standard has been set by a business model geared to create a perfect work/life balance. The brand is prioritizing a seamless workplace through automated technology, a groundbreaking scheduling system and a mobile database to provide instant insights for any job.
Brandon Cerrito, CEO of The Carpet Chemist, mapped out why prospective franchisees are quickly gravitating to the brand. “A lot of people want to be their own boss, but our model takes that to new heights. We don’t have the need to visit an office, and everything is accessed from an operator’s driveway and the palm of their hands,” he said.
The Carpet Chemist operates a fully-automated job system that notifies clients when a technician is on their way. “You eat breakfast, you tap into your schedule app and you instantly know your day ahead. It’s simple,” Cerrito said. “We have completely eradicated the need for a deep paper archive that tied people down in the industry before.”
A Carpet Chemist operator will be able to see their daily schedule and the duties to perform on each job all from their phone. From there, they go to their office-on-wheels — a fully-wrapped Carpet Chemist van — and are equipped with everything they need to perform each task.
From there, a technician notifies each client they are on their way directly from an automated app. Once each job is finished, each customer is sent a link for a review, payment can be accepted in almost any preferred method and the process continues through a simple, fully-automated scheduling process.
“Before this automation existed, carpet technicians would have to answer phone calls on the job and manage a whole lot of pain points that took away from the main focus of the job itself,” Cerrito said. “The Carpet Chemist has an integral Call Lab that manages those duties for franchisees, and we’ve eliminated virtually all distractions that previously took away from the most important part of the job — taking care of carpets.”
The day-to-day rigors of a Carpet Chemist specialist are simplified, and the closing duties are as simple as driving back home in a company van.
The innovative system allows each operator to have a say in their own hours and to take on their own business operation with a truly individualized approach.
The communication system in place ensures that each customer is kept up-to-date on any circumstance that might arise over the course of a standard work day. Lines of communication between clients are easy to keep open with a mobile app and push notification system in place, making sure there are minimal surprises for both operators and customers to navigate.
The brand has capitalized on a huge ability to brand itself through this automated system, spreading word of mouth through reviews without having to beg for it like they otherwise would on a pen-and-paper setup. “Maybe a potential franchisee didn't even think about how important reviews are,” Cerrito said.
The Carpet Chemist has an online portal to make day-to-day rigors even more simplified for technicians while on the job. They can check out a full database of videos detailing every service the brand can provide, specified to the equipment found in each company van.
Real-time issues can be handled with precision under this setup, eliminating any guesswork and helping the brand become as efficient as possible.
Each franchisee is able to capitalize on a format that is structured for premier work-life balance. Scheduling is managed, coordination is simplified and the work day for each carpet technician is instantly simplified. This allows owners the flexibility to give themselves time off, to be there for their families and to be truly excited about where they work.
The total investment to franchise with The Carpet Chemist ranges from $77,300 to $109,700 including a $25,000 franchise fee. For more information on franchising with The Carpet Chemist, visit https://thecarpetchemistfranchise.com/.
