When Amber Mowery first learned of JDog Junk Removal & Hauling, she told her husband Aaron that he was crazy for considering an investment.

“You’re only as good as a parachute,” he reminded her. “If you’re open-minded, you’re going to catch the air and land softly.”

So, the two reached out to the JDog Brands corporate team. Throughout the entire due diligence process, Amber says the JDog team exhibited each quality of their brand motto: respect, trustworthiness and integrity.

“Their motto is true from beginning to end, and still to this day, almost two years later, is continuing,” she said.

Now, the family’s JDog business has provided a vessel through which they can serve their community, team up with other local, like-minded businesses and organizations, and continue Veteran outreach.

While the family is excited to work toward JDog’s larger mission — to reduce Veteran unemployment below 1% — Amber says they also find fulfillment in supporting Veterans who simply cannot work due to injury or disability. Whether the family is hiring employees, providing a paycheck and a purpose, or strengthening the pattern of Veteran outreach within the community, their JDog Junk Removal & Hauling business is something the entire family unites around.

“JDog is something that has given my husband a little light behind his eyes again. That is huge. It is something that he says makes him feel as if he’s helping Veterans and the military community again, and that is tremendous,” Amber said.
