From February 15 &#8211; 18, Las Vegas becomes franchising&#8217;s playground. The <a href="http://www.franchise.org/?utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=annual-convention-aims-to-regroup-and-innovate-in-2015-1084" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">International Franchise Association&#8217;s</a> Annual Convention is touted as the &#8220;Premier Franchise Event of the Year,&#8221; and for good reason. Once a year thousands of franchise business leaders come together to share, learn, experience and set themselves up for success for a brand new year of business. #IFA2015 is especially important; after a year of legislative uncertainty, public policy regulation and economic pressures, franchising is coming together to bolster franchise relations and leadership for success moving forward. &#8220;IFA has several key initiatives for 2015, which include: preserving the franchise business model by challenging the National Labor Relations Board&#8217;s (NLRB) &#8220;joint employer&#8221; ruling, restoring the 40-hour work week within the Affordable Care Act and improving the legal immigration system to strengthen the workforce,&#8221; said Steve Caldeira, CEO and President of the IFA. The Convention theme this year is &#8220;Connect. Innovate. Evolve.&#8221; and the theme is a nod to franchising&#8217;s expansive network that aims to strengthen existing connections and &#8220;unite the industry and promote innovation.&#8221; Attendees can rub shoulders with the best in the business and educate themselves through networking, roundtables, educational sessions, keynote speakers, summits and mini sessions.
