Arby's to Introduce Duck Sandwiches at Select Locations

Arby's has announced a limited-time offering for 16 of its locations. According to a recent article in Nation's Restaurant News, the brand will be offering a duck sandwich to select restaurants that are close to popular duck-hunting grounds. The sandwich will feature duck breast from Maple Leaf Farms and be finished off with fried onions and smoked cherry sauce.

“We are thrilled to be a part of introducing duck to the quick-service restaurant industry and its customers. The new sandwich, with its sweet-smoky cherry sauce, complements the rich, red meat flavor of the duck breast perfectly,” said Cindy Turk, marketing director for Maple Leaf Farms.

This is not the first time that Arby’s has experimented with game meat offerings. A few years back, it tested a venison sandwich. The LTO was a hit and sold out in less than 20 minutes. The brand later relaunched the item and introduced an elk variety as well.
