Beef ‘O’ Brady’s signed a six-unit deal in Central Georgia with franchisee Mangesh Patel. The agreement is part of the brand’s larger plans to grow across the Southeast, Franchise Times recently reported.
Patel brings over four decades of hospitality and operational experience to the restaurant. He began his career in 1979 in Queens, New York, and later moved to North Carolina to operate restaurants and hotels. When he moved to the Atlanta metro in 2003, he developed food and hospitality brands across Georgia, including a five-unit Huey Magoo’s agreement in Macon. He plans to keep the momentum going in Macon and nearby cities with Beef ‘O’ Brady’s.
“I like the concept of a family-type sports bar, and what they have put together is wonderful,” Patel said.
Patel’s first two restaurants are planned for Macon and are scheduled to open within the year, with plans to open another three in 2027. The restaurants are planned for Dublin, Forsyth, Macon, Milledgeville and Thomson.
Beef ‘O’ Brady’s tends to resonate in smaller towns. Other than Macon, the cities each have a population of less than 17,000.
“These towns are all really the bullseye-sized towns for Beef ‘O’ Brady’s,” said Scott SirLouis, chief operating officer of parent company FSC Franchise Co. “We were really excited because Mangesh has a long background in the restaurant industry … he’s someone that gets entrepreneurship and gets business but also gets hospitality and how to succeed in the restaurant industry.”
The franchise has seen growing interest in the Southeast. It expects to open between eight and 10 stores this year.
“It’s been a really good time for us,” SirLouis said.
