The expansion comes years after the brand closed its Beach Boulevard location.

With a focus on classic American food like burgers, sandwiches and wings, Beef &lsquo;O Brady&rsquo;s plans to open five family-centric sports restaurants in the area. The brand is looking for passionate owner-operators to join its ever-growing system, but is also open to entrepreneurs looking to sign multi-unit development deals.

&quot;Honestly, it&#39;s wide open right now, but obviously, a couple have come to the forefront, like Fruit Cove, Meadow Brook, Palm Valley,&quot; said Jamie Cecil, director of franchise sales at Beef &#39;O&#39; Brady&#39;s. &quot;Beef works well in areas like that. We&#39;re not going to look in Downtown Jacksonville. We need to be out in the suburbs where we can become the home away from home.&quot;

The average timeline for a Beef &lsquo;O&rsquo; Brady&rsquo;s franchise to open its door for business is nine to 12 months. That&rsquo;s why Cecil is hopeful the brand will have a restaurant in the area by the end of 2017.
