Nation's Restaurant News: Checkers & Rally's Gains Added Edge with Popular Combo Meals
Quick-service burger chains are heating up the competition by announcing value combo meals.
Value combo deals are all the rage in the QSR burger industry lately, and brands are elbowing for position with a variety of combination options according to a recent article in Nation's Restaurant News.
Wendy's was the first to reinstate a value combo deal, with McDonald's and Burger King joining with their own deals. Rapidly expanding franchise Checkers & Rally's Restaurants, Inc. has always remained committed to offering great value options.
“Consumers value choice and variety, as well as value,” Lauren Axe, brand marketing director for Checkers and Rally’s, told Nation's Restaurant News. “They prefer not to be locked into a deal.”
The Tampa-based brand already offers deals at two for $3, two for $4, and two for $5 - as well as their $2 boxes, while consistently offering innovative value combinations.
