Children’s Lighthouse is set to bring its trusted child care and early education services to Celina, Texas, with a new facility slated to open in late February or early March 2025. Located at 3520 N. Dallas Parkway near the Outer Loop, the 10,300-square-foot facility will feature 10 classrooms and accommodate 215-220 children.

Matt Kelton, vice president of franchise development, told the Celina Record that Celina’s rapid growth and appeal to young, affluent families as driving factors for the expansion. The new location will cater to children from 6 weeks to 5 years old, offering preschool and after-school care for children up to age 12.

According to Michael Brown, president of Children’s Lighthouse, the site was chosen for its proximity to several master-planned communities, making it an ideal location for serving Celina’s growing population.

With U.S. Census data showing Celina’s population more than doubling between 2019 and 2023, Children’s Lighthouse is poised to support the area’s family-centric growth. Kelton also hinted at potential future expansions in Celina and neighboring areas like Prosper and Anna, signaling the brand’s commitment to meeting the needs of these thriving communities.

All programs will be available when the facility opens.
