Convention Preview: Franchise Expo South

Starting Friday, thousands of people will descend upon the Miami Beach Convention Center for one of the franchise industry’s largest events, Franchise Expo South. Hundreds of franchises will be exhibiting at this year’s expo, which runs from January 11-13, all vying for potential franchisee business and displaying the latest and greatest their concept has to offer via elaborate booths. In addition to exhibitors on the show floor, Franchise Expo South, or FES, will also provide attendees with opportunities to attend learning seminars from some of the biggest names and experts in the industry.  Educational seminar topics range from free programs that delve into figuring out if your business is franchisable and what the best practices for effective brand development are, to special events sponsored by Franchise Times, like Saturday’s “How to Become a Multi-Unit Franchise Owner,” presented by Kate Bartosik of FRANdata with a panel comprised of industry superstars like Wireless Zone’s Clay Neff and Famous Dave’s*’ Bret Larrabee.
