Cheryl Kingsley has successfully been a <a href="http://www.lennysfranchise.com/?utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=desoto-times-tribune-boss-builds-a-better-sandwich-2312" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Lenny&#8217;s Subs </a>franchisee for the past 12 years, and has owned her location in Hernando, Miss., for 10 years before moving it from Southaven, Miss. A graduate of Southaven High School in 1985, Kingsley had dreams of becoming a flight attendant. "I thought I was going to travel and see the world," Kingsley said. While she may not be flying all over the world, Kingsley is going places in the business world. Her location has received accolades including "Highest Guest Count Improvement" nationwide and "Highest Year Over Year Sales Generator." She is most proud of receiving the DeSoto Times-Tribune's &#8220;DeSoto's Best&#8221; for three years in a row, because that accolade comes from her customers. "I love people," Kingsley said. "Whenever I have a bad day, I come to work because I love to be around people." Kingsley takes pride in her family business each day and certainly believes in the product. Her two children, Hunter, 24, and Holly, 18, grew up in the store, and her husband Danny helps with maintenance and deliveries. "This store here&#8212;they call it Cheryl's," Kingsley said.
