Tim &amp; Kristen Sorrentino, who both grew up in New Jersey, met in college while attending Rowan University. After college, Tim served in the U.S.&nbsp;Army. During that time, he was deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan. The couple has two young children, Macy and Evan, and are excited to embark on a new adventure and open their first business with <a href="http://mosquitojoefranchise.com/?utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=franchisee-spotlight-tim-and-kristen-sorrentino-of-mosquito-joe-10217" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Mosquito Joe</a>.&nbsp;

Elaborate on your background.

Tim graduated from Rowan University with a BA in teaching, while simultaneously being commissioned as an infantry officer in the U.S. Army. He served&nbsp;part time in the army national guard and taught&nbsp;for approximately four years&nbsp;before being called to active duty in support of an Iraq deployment. Tim remained on active duty after the deployment where he served as a plans officer. He was then later deployed to Afghanistan to serve as&nbsp;a mentor to the Afghan Army. He obtained a Masters in Education Administration and an MBA from Villanova before separating from the army full time.&nbsp;Tim is employed full-time as a Sr. Purchasing Manager at Express Scripts, and he is also pursuing a Masters in Supply Chain Management from Rutgers University.

Kristen earned a Bachelors of Art in Communication with a minor in Creative Writing from Rowan University; she spent a few years in the mortgage industry. There, she was highly acknowledged as the leader among her peers. Kristen&rsquo;s attention to detail and creativeness led her to create standard work for other offices to emulate.&nbsp;She left the structured work environment as Tim departed for his first deployment; this enabled her to raise their two children. Macy (age 8) is currently in second grade and Evan is a curious one-year old. Kristen is eager to put her talents and people skills back to work with <a href="http://mosquitojoe.1851franchise.com/?utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=franchisee-spotlight-tim-and-kristen-sorrentino-of-mosquito-joe-10217" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Mosquito Joe</a> and will be handling the day-to-day of the business while Tim will be handling the financials and administration.

How did you hear about the brand and why did you choose to get involved? 

Tim heard about the brand through a friend. He aligns with the company&rsquo;s mission and is very happy with level of support the company provides to its&nbsp;franchisees.

What&rsquo;s next for you and your business? 

The couple is planning to hire two to four employees for this location. They&rsquo;ve signed on for three territories and are planning to open one territory each year.&nbsp;
