Dunkin' Spot Pokes Fun at Foodservice Branded Apparel Trends
The humorous video features a fictional line of clothing designed to hold different espresso beverages in custom pockets.
Dunkin' has released a satirical video that makes fun of the current trend of fashion releases from foodservice brands. According to a recent article in Nation's Restaurant News, the clip showcases a fictional line of clothing called Espresso-Wear. The line contains three variations, called "cappu-chinos," "Americano-veralls" and "latte-nk top." Each has a pocket designed to hold a coffee drink from the franchise.
Though these outfits are not really for sale, other brands have actually gotten involved with selling unique clothing merchandise. Taco Bell is currently offering a line of branded ugly Christmas sweaters, Auntie Anne’s released fanny packs in the spring and KFC is collaborating with the Human Made company for its own line.
