ecomaids on Pace To Award 25 Additional Franchise Locations By the End of 2021

After cleaning up during the first half of 2021, the all-natural home cleaning brand is expanding its sustainable footprint to homes across the country.

Sustainable home cleaning franchise ecomaids has hit the half-year mark with 25 new franchises under its belt and a goal of opening another 22 units by the end of 2021. Currently the fastest growing cleaning concept in the franchising industry, ecomaids’ environmentally conscious mission lets customers feel good about their maid service, and franchisees feel good about partnering with a company that shares their values.

At a time when Americans are spending more time than ever at home, demand for home cleaning services continues to rise. According to ecomaids CEO Lindsay Dellasega, a number of factors are at play.

“COVID-19 turned us all into germaphobes,” Dellasega said. “The booming demand for both health and cleanliness has been prominent for years, but the pandemic really brought that to the forefront. At the same time, between home offices and home schooling, American homes are getting more use than ever. We’re seeing unprecedented demand.”

The eco-friendly home cleaning franchise is also capitalizing on another trend: a fast-growing demand for green residential and commercial cleaning services. According to a recent research report, the use of green products is expected to revolutionize the U.S. cleaning market. An early adapter, all of the ecomaids’ cleaning products are non-toxic, chemical-free, all-natural and biodegradable while its equipment and supplies are reusable, non-consumable and recyclable.

That resonated with ecomaids franchisee Eoin Lehane, who opened his Camp Hill, Pennsylvania location in March of this year. “Primarily, what attracted me to the brand was my passion about the environment,” said Lehane, who had previously worked in hotel management. “It’s exciting to partner with a brand that shares that passion.”

Launched over a decade ago in Portland, Oregon, ecomaids was acquired by Happinest Brands in 2019, whose holdings include home services giant Lawn Doctor and pest control franchise Mosquito Hunters

Offering a streamlined business model that’s easy to operate, ecomaids’ executive management model offers franchisees a flexible work/life balance, strong customer retention potential through its weekly, bi-weekly or monthly service plans and the ability to operate from home and keep overhead costs low.

Additionally, ecomaids franchisees benefit from the support of the expert Happinest team and its corporate marketing program, which assists franchisees with setting up their websites, Facebook pages, pay-per-click advertising and SEO.

“The marketing program is very helpful for getting started,” said ecomaids franchisee Dawn Hodges. “They manage your Google ads and help get you going on the recruiting side of things. Having that help means you can build a customer base very quickly.”

“By eliminating harmful chemicals and toxins from its cleaning agents, ecomaids makes homes safe for children, pets and families,” said Dellasega. “We are proud to provide meaningful services for a world that’s growing more health-conscious by the day.”
