Rick Hascall had always wanted to start his own business, and after seeing his two friends become successful franchisees, he decided to try it out for himself. So, he opened a <a href="http://workoutanytime.com/franchising/own-a-club?utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=entrepreneur-magazine-bringing-a-new-fitness-franchise-to-the-pacific-northwest-2251" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Workout Anytime</a> location in Beaverton, OR.&#8220;I have friends who walked down the path ahead of me and showed me the way,&#8221; Hascall said in an interview with Entrepreneur Magazine. &#8220;It looks like a user-friendly way of owning your own business and it gives you the peace of mind knowing that you are going into a proven business model. This relieves a lot of the stress of opening your own business and not knowing if it is going to be successful or not.&#8221; His location is the first in the Pacific Northwest, giving the brand 57 locations nationwide. While researching franchisees, Hascall said he had a lot of help from family and friends. &#8220;I got most of my advice from friends and family as is most often the case in making important decisions that affect not just you but those around you,&#8221; he told Entrepreneur. &#8220;My research was done online and by visiting some of the <a href="http://workoutanytime.1851franchise.com/?utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=entrepreneur-magazine-bringing-a-new-fitness-franchise-to-the-pacific-northwest-2251" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Workout Anytime</a> franchises and their owners as well as visiting and speaking with the corporate headquarters and the owners of the franchise itself.&#8221;He suggests that others hoping to become franchisees do their fair share of research as well, and find the brand that works best for them.
