Robert Maynard, co-founder and CEO of <a href="http://famoustoastery.1851franchise.com/?utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=famous-toastery-franchises-growing-leaps-and-bounds-2808" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Famous Toastery</a>, said the brand is slated to have 30-35 Toastery new locations open by the end of next year. Toastery is spreading out in North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, Florida, Philadelphia and Long Island, New York. &#8220;We don&#8217;t advertise, but potential franchisees are finding us,&#8221; Maynard said. &#8220;Word of mouth is big for us. People love what we do and are passionate about us.&#8221; In addition to signing up new franchisees, existing store owners are opening more restaurants, he said. As for potential franchisees, they often first become intrigued by Toastery when they eat there and experience the high quality of food and service and the great atmosphere. Each Toastery has its own personality. There is nothing cookie-cutter about the restaurants. &#8220;People hear about us and come in. They learn more and love our service and the food,&#8221; he said. &#8220;From a business perspective, breakfast is the hottest thing right now and it will be for the foreseeable future. It&#8217;s a fairly untapped market, particularly for a model like ours. We&#8217;re beating out the competition right now on every level, from real estate options to food quality.&#8221; The healthy growth is fueled by great franchisee prospects. People who get in touch with Famous Toastery already know a lot about the brand and are excited about it, he said. &#8220;Every lead is pretty solid,&#8221; Maynard said. &#8220;We don&#8217;t get a lot of tire kickers. This business sells itself. You can&#8217;t make people like you. They either want to be involved or they don&#8217;t. People want to be a part of this great brand.&#8221; Famous Toastery also is looking at California, Tennessee and New Jersey for even more growth in the next couple of years. &#8220;We&#8217;re getting a lot of interest in those areas.
