FirstLight Home Care Closes 2018 On a High Note

After an impressive year, FirstLight Home Care enters 2019 as one of the home healthcare industry’s biggest franchise players.

As the calendar changes from 2018 to 2019 and FirstLight Home Care franchise reflects on the last year, there are quite a few accomplishments for the brand to hang its hat on. Year to date, FirstLight has experienced a 17 percent increase in same-store sales growth with the books still not closed on 2018. Impressively, FirstLight also entered 24 new markets and saw existing franchisees expand into nine additional untapped markets. The brand’s impressive growth didn’t stop there, however. The year also saw FristLight sign its first independent home care conversion franchise in Greensboro, North Carolina, an achievement that was the first of its kind across the entire industry.

Beyond achieving industry-leading growth numbers in the last year, First Light has experienced overwhelmingly positive feedback from its franchisees. Bevis noted that in 2018, FirstLight received its seventh consecutive 4-Star rating in Franchise Business Review’s annual Franchisee Satisfaction Reviews.

“We continuously receive strong feedback from our owners,” Bevis said. “With FirstLight’s strong positioning, our owners are very bullish on the trends in both healthcare and home care for 2019 and years to come.”

Bevis explained that the brand’s ability to stay up-to-date and ahead of changes in the healthcare and home health industries keeps its franchisees prepared and instills confidence in FirstLight’s solution-oriented strategy.
