Local resident Julie Liang has signed on to open a new FirstLight franchise location this summer.

After taking a step back from her career to focus on her family, San Francisco-native Julie Liang was searching for a way to reenter the workforce while still being able to be there for her young children, who are ages 6, 8 and 12. Although accounting is where she got her start, Liang wanted something that both gave back to the community and made her feel good at the end of the day knowing she was helping people. 

After being personally introduced to FirstLight by a friend, Liang did some research and ultimately decided to take the leap and open a location of her own. It was the brand’s Culture of Care that stood out to her the most, along with the heightened level of support that the brand gives to every single one of its franchisees. Liang’s FirstLight territory will serve Glendale, La Cañada, La Crescenta, South Pasadena and parts of Los Angeles. 

“I have experienced first-hand trying to hire someone to provide care to a family member. It was a very scary and frustrating time, and I want to give people who are looking for help a better experience than what I had,” said Liang. “With FirstLight Home Care, we strive to be the leader in providing quality home care services. My job and goal is to give peace of mind to people looking for care by providing good and quality caregivers.”
